The Voyager 9540 Single-Line Laser Barcode Scanner<\/strong>\u00a0from\u00a0Honeywell<\/strong>\u00a0features a lightweight, ergonomic design that is drop-resistant up to 5 feet. The scanner’s design takes the guesswork out of proper positioning and angling. Thanks to its wide angle of coverage (side-to-side, up and down, and tilt), it’s easy to learn how to use and will shorten the lines at the register or speed up any other job. Additionally, you can seamlessly switch between hands-free and handheld modes thanks to automatic in-stand detection. The scanner is compatible with 1D bar codes, including GS1 DataBar (RSS) symbologies.<\/em><\/p>\n

The Honeywell MK9540 Voyager Barcode Scanner can be used as both a handheld and fixed projection scanner. The MK9540 Voyager is packed with all of the features of the old MK9520 with the additional feature of the CodeGate technogy.<\/p>\n

CodeGate Technology in MK9540 allows the Voyager’s\u00a0scan line to be visible,\u00a0but not decode and transmit data until the button is pushed, CodeGate can be activated out of stand as your operations requires or in stand.\u00a0To put it in a lame man\u2019s word..CodeGate technology in MK9540 enables manual barcode scanning, that is you scan barcode by pressing the button on the scanner to trigger the scanning, whereas the MK9520 scans automatically only and cannot be used to scan manually (infact MK9520 has no trigger button)<\/p>\n
